B.C. Graduation Requirements
Students who complete all British Columbia Ministry of Education graduation program requirements receive a Dogwood Diploma, the B.C. High school graduation diploma.
The requirements for graduation are the successful completion of 80 credits in Grades 10~12; a minimum of 48 credits of required courses and a 4 credit Graduation Transitions.
VFA High School counselors meet with each student to plan an academic program that meets the needs and interest of each individual. Our dedicated teachers and small classes give each student the individual attention needed for success in these challenging courses.

Graduation Program Examination
Graduation Program examination in Grade 12 English or Communications (40% of final mark) is required for graduation.
Government exam marks will be blended with course marks to determine the final course grade.
