Vancouver Formosa Academy offers a special full-time summer ESL program for international students or new immigrants who would like to improve their English skills and enjoy activities in Vancouver.

  • No class on July 1st (for Canada Day)
  • No class on August 5th (B.C. Day)
  • Homestay is available for students age 13 and over

  Registration and Payment Deadlines
  

  • Register in person, by email, fax or via internet.
  • Space is limited. Full payment is required to ensure a space.
  • Registration Deadline: 3 weeks before class start date

  Medical Insurance

  All students must be covered by medical insurance. Proof of medical insurance must be presented by start date.

  Dress Code

  A casual dress code will be enforced. Please see regulations upon registration.

• VFA Summer Program Refund Policy

  In the event that an applicant does not come to Canada or decides to leave the Vancouver Formosa Academy for personal reasons, a portion of the paid tuition fee may be refunded.  $50 will be retained to cover administrative expenses.

  All requests must be made in writing.

  The following refund policy will apply:

  1. Full refund, less application and administrative fees, if the student authorization is not approved by Canadian Immigration (student must include the letter of rejection from the High Commission);
  2. 75% of tuition fee, if the student withdraws by June 15, 2024;
  3. 50% of tuition fee, if the student withdraws by June 30, 2024;
  4. No refund of the tuition fee if the student withdraws after June 30, 2024;
  5. No refund of the tuition fee if the student is found to be in violation of school rules. The school reserves the right to expel a student after three written Student Disciplinary Notices or for any totally inappropriate, dangerous or illegal behavior.
