Well-balanced Curriculum
As part of the curriculum, students participate in a variety of fun and educational cultural activities, field trips and sports. These activities are part of a well-balanced program that helps introduce them to Canadian society.
Personalized Care and Support
At VFA High, we treat each student as an individual and provide a variety of personalized services. In our small classes, students receive the individual attention needed to succeed in the Canadian school system. Our experienced staff help students cope with the challenges of living away from home and keep in close contact with parents overseas.
High Academic and Behavioural Standards
With our personal attention and high academic standards, VFA High School students score well on required government exams. We have strict behavioral and attendance expectations at VFA, enabling our students to achieve their best personal and academic potential.

Vancouver Formosa Academy offered a BC Ministry of Education high school program and LINC program fiunded by Immigration Canada for over 30 years. We are extremely proud of the quality of education we provided.

Unfortunately, as of September 1, 2025, we have closed our doors.

We have many memories of our students in both the high school and LINC programs and we wish everyone all the best in the future!
