VFA High School is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Vancouver.  This residential environment is very suitable for international students. For example, many of our homestay families live within easy walking distance of the school. Next to the school is a large, grassy park containing a baseball diamond, soccer field and playground, offering young people a variety of recreational activities.

There are many community facilities near Vancouver Formosa Academy, including a public library, community centre, indoor swimming pool and ice arena. These facilities give students a variety of healthy options during both school and individual activities.

Conveniently close to major bus routes and rapid transit, the school is easily accessed from all parts of Vancouver. Downtown Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport are both less than a 20 minute drive away.

Vancouver, British Columbia, is well known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
